I just watched your video to see what ricing a website meant. Now I have a vague idea. No idea what GRUB box (grove box/growth box ? is). Stylus seems a easy tool using CSS, and that website will be a gem for when I want to build my own website--thanks !

Thanks for watching! Gruvbox is a color scheme originally for Vim I believe but now available for many programs. Glad to hear :-)

@@BreadOnPenguins That explains it. I don't use vim. I use ne. You can program it to assign a sequence of keys when you press one particular key, typically a function key. I like ne. It's a nice editor.

Content scripts don't have access to any JS properties on the page, and vice versa. For the styles themselves, CSS can't directly execute JS or anything like that, but of course you can read through styles before using them if you are worried about user-submitted styles.

Just depends on your use case :-) Custom styles are far more powerful for custom colors, UI changes, etc. If you only need a simple dark mode, then they aren't needed.

i use dark reader, just turned on advanced settings and swapped background colour, as i wanted to match it with my GTK theme overall it's nice, just not as powerful as stylus
