Opa was the undisputed King of Tootsietoys and is sorely missed by all of us. For some weird reason I like the simplicity of Tootsie Toys. JB Weld is always fun on a build, I created three poison tanks on the bottom of my death race car after using the weld to hold the spikes in place, had to pretty it up. Also liberally used it on my first build and liked the results Santa and I have watched several of Opa's builds. Interesting and fun! Your tribute is awesome! The two cars side by side are 🌟

Apparently the Killer Rabbit got to the goat! Then again, Opa was THE G.O.A.T. when it came to Tootsie Toys anyways! Beautiful tribute! Have fun with your toys, Tootsie or otherwise!

Looking good brother, even though it's a Tootsie Toy it kind of doesn't look like one. Great choice of wheels, they work well with the car. Elmer Fudd better watch out lol.

Anyone who has seen the other Bloodsplatter Rabbit will probably have a deja vu experience this time. What I think is really great this time is that although you immediately recognize that the interior isn't there, as usual, you can't tell from the outside that it's a Tootsietoy car. I'm not sure if you know, but OPA is the German abbreviation for grandfather. But again, I don't know what connection OPA has to Scott Koster.

Thanks Fritz! I think the black window decals really helped the illusion that it's not a Tootsietoy. I did know that Opa was the German nickname for grandfather...and I think I know that because Opa mentioned it (if I'm remembering correctly which is anyone's guess lol). Have a great weekend!
