I love my petrol 76 Series. Mine is more of a desert runner as I live in the middle east and need to keep it as light as possible. I wonder how much your beast weighs.

How did you fix the wheel track and does it have a gvm upgrade? Just wondering as i have a 76 as well.
@Unsealed5 жыл бұрын
We haven't fixed the wheel track yet, and the GVM upgrade will happen when we do the track width correction. Which will be done with a full aftermarket replacement housing once we decide which way to go. Portals maybe ;)

well done!, how about the power of the engine , usually it is not high enough even for 200 HP . and the deferential lock couldn't it be better
@ThexXxXxOLOxXxXx2 жыл бұрын
Yeah the engine's diesel so this's the most hp you can ever get from it since it's an v8 with a turbo, but it has more torque than full on trucks

I think you need to add lokka on your land cruiser it very good for traction

Do you have to regear to run the 35s?
@Unsealed5 жыл бұрын
We rebuilt the diffs and added an E-Locker to the rear end but didn't regear and found the bigger tyres help lower RPM on the highway

@@Unsealed awesome work on your rig. Are you using old man coils and leaves? Any rubbing?
@noel270w84 жыл бұрын
You asked- so I think the thing you should rebuild next is the motor. Blue smoke through those beautiful twin exhausts ain't good. You definitely bought a sow's ear and manage to turn it into a pvc purse. I hope you don't sell it on to some poor unsuspecting bugger.

A pity all the underlying, inherent Toyota "wobblies" weren't fixed while you were at it, ie mismatched track front to rear, suspensions flex of a brick, turning circle of an aircraft carrier, 1980's cabin appointments and seats, no leg room and an asthmatic 4.5 litre engine with less torque than modern 4 cylinder engines. Oh, and then there is the Toyota tax on parts! But hey, it sounds good!
