I've never considered a trike but these are pretty cool. Last summer I hit a patch of gravel in a corner while bike riding and went down. Cracked a rib and bruised myself pretty good. A trike might be a viable option

Just remember they can take up as much space as a small car. Don’t fit through doors and some gates.

So I'm not the only one building a bad ass trike. I vend on beautiful Venice beach. I am building a dual drive electric front hub monster geared out to pull a trailer at 33/36. Was contemplating using a chopper frame and now I have too. Most expensive project besides my g20.

I saw only one real adult tricycle in all of these and it was bone stock. Several of these bikes did not appear to be operational. I own 4 adult trikes all customs. A Schwinn Merridian, a Columbia (only built for 2 years) with 3 speed Shimano gearing. A Trailmate industrial lowrider trike and a Miami Sun. The Miami sun is my baby and I'm almost finished with her. She has apes, a 3 over 3 under springer, White Walls all around. a Harley FLH old school saddle with springs and I'm painting her up to look like a John Deere. I have yet to see a Schwinn Meridian better than mine. Come on guys build a real trike out of a real trike. It's a challenge but worth the effort.

MANNNN! A good majority of these were TRASH! Nothing too unique about them. Check out bikes that people bring for OBC. Was hoping I could get some inspiration for my stretch trike but there were only at most 3 I liked. I liked the very first one shown.
