Hi Thomas, I have a couple of questions if that's ok first have you any instructions for making a star I've got a real mental block, 2nd and totally unrelated I'm thinking of buying a mitre saw but wondering if a band saw could do the things a mitre saw does or even more please can you help. Thank you.

Hi, I posted a video on making wooden stars last week. Have you seen it? Not sure if that's the design of a star you ate looking for. I would say a bandsaw can do similar cuts but it's much slower, harder to control and you may not get super accurate cuts. Plus usually the bandsaw will limit you greatly in what lengths of a board you can cross cut on it. I would say they are different tools for different tasks.

@@geoffreynicholson6704 Hehe draw a star, I use software to draw it for me 😄 Best way just put in KZbin how to draw a star. There are few designs and different ways of drawing them. All depends which one you want. So best way is to search it on KZbin, that's what I would do.
