You are absolutely right, even I saw your models on the web, your mocs should have been used to find solutions for the scale (for example, I see that your supra and your AE86 are superior to the others on the internet) and not to fill their pockets. in an easy way, I support you.💪

This is a shame, I purchased a knock-off g wagon last year before Lego released theirs, and it also turned out to be stolen. The one saving factor that these stolen knockoffs provide is that they are of such poor quality, that probably will not retain repeat customers.

Thats true lol, I was looking at the reviews of one of these knockoff sellers the other day and a ton of people had issues with their models. I was honestly hoping the one I bought would have issues but I guess it varies based on the set you buy/ who you buy it from/ etc

What you said in the vid was actually spot on, a few days ago I saw someone make a review of a bmw from the same fake company that stole your silvia. In the video he said that he paid $20 for it on Amazon, so this drop shipping thing actually worked.

This is wild. God forbid these companies pay for a designer to make something original. Naturally, this video came with a Temu ad 🤦‍♂️ we can't escape! Great video, though! Do your research when buying and always support designers! And if you do buy a ripped-off set at least go to rebrickable and buy the original instructions!

Man this is scary cuz I made a sick looking Ferrari Enzo and Ferrari FXX and I wanted to release them to the public but idk if I want to cuz I don’t want someone to steal my design and pass it on as their own

That's awful! 'too, realized that stolen builds where sold on Ali. According to this i tried my best to built up a strategy against this machinery, involving releasing all instructions on youtube(for free) and on Ko-Fi(mostly paid) and only doing alternates for smaller sets. But due to some comments i get from time to time, it looks like there are a few groups that try to steal my builds too. Have you ever thought of selling your sets on your own? There exists at least one fulfilment company packaging Lego bricks plus your instruction and ships it for you.

This is why I've made so many new mocs and I've stopped uploading on all social media until I figure out what to do. The worst of the worst, these "dropshipping" companies or those on AliExpress, were nicely exposed here. But there are more subtle bad actors too in the speed champions community. Many people clearly take inspiration without giving credit, and then think they can sell the moc as their own. Its absolutely immoral and I had to take down 3 mocs on rebrickable which were clear copies of mine. At least rebrickable is responsive and helpful though, as some high-profile creator plagiarised a whole section of my build and sells it on their own website, so I can't take it down. These mocs that we share to the world are meant to be our expressions of the joy of automobiles and these copycats tarnish that joy. So until this stops, I will never show all of the mocs that I have...

Thanks for making this Video its important that people see it. I only uploaded two Mocs on rebrickable and my s14 already got stolen and is now on Ali express and sold like 300 times😂. So this happens really fast

Hey man, I recently found out i probably bought some stolen models, but I find it a real pain in the ass to buy models on rebrickable. I've never seen a 100% part match of any model. I'm not a real Lego enthousiast, I just like to assemble one of those car models from time to time, and i don't want to have to jump through all sorts of houps before i can buy a product. I've stopt buying any models now (since i dont want to support the thieves). Isn't there some kind of compromise possible where the designers pick the best Chinese bricks and sell those bricks with the instructions on maybe your own site or instagram channel? THis way the modellers can get paid, but i can also easily buy a product. I hope this can help some kind of a discussion because I just don't buy anything now anymore. Yes you can actually put a video tutorial in rebrickable for the instruction section (you can definitely do this for free mocs but im actually not sure about premium). Definitely worth if you don’t want your moc stolen
