It seems like every one of these videos has 2 or 3 instances of wheel bearings that are so far gone it's amazing the wheel hasn't fallen off. These people must have been ignoring terrible bearing noises for thousands of miles to get to that point.

My son's car has the 2.0 ecotec. The balance shaft chain tensioner broke and the chain went slack enough to stop running the water pump and ground off the teeth on the crank sprocket. it looked like a razor sharp cutting wheel. Towed it home,replaced the chains and it's been good ever since.

110%, full size Chevy 1500/2500/3500, Tahoe or Suburban, 4x4. The front axle is literally in your face in the video. Judging by the amount of rust/oil leakage, pan design, etc, at the newest this vehicle is a 2012, but likely older.

Friend of mine had an oil filter off a Ford 351 that had 3-4 , 1/4" steel pucks rattling around in it. He is a mechanic as am I and all we could come up with is Somehow they got in there from the manufacture of the top cap oil flow holes of the filter itself? Very strange!

as for the Porsche, the only thing I can imagine is making a burn-out by letting the clutch pedal snap up instead of releasing it fast, and doing it repeatedly when the engine management ragequitted. This could cause the homokinetic joint to break apart. the strut then slipped out of it's whatever when they managed to destroy the joint, I think. looking at it hurts my inner mechanic.
