I 100% believe we should have uniforms. I worked as a contractor for the railroad for 15 years and we had uniforms. But, those uniforms were bought and paid for by the company, as a company driver we don’t have any reimbursements for work clothes, boots, prescription safety glasses etc. I wear work boots and jeans everyday. I just wouldnt feel right wearing crocs or flip flops around, especially around a customer. The companies, in my opinion, need to start raising their standards.

Big boy trucking companies who pay professional salaries do wear uniforms, most LTL carriers, UPS, Walmart, food service all make big boy bucks and big boy money. Mega carriers are essentialy the McDonalds of the trucking industry and pay garbage. Why would you wear a uniform for a garbage company? 😂😂😅😅

Nonooooooooo... I'm so happy that I don't have to wear uniforms. But, there should be a footwear standard at the customer location. If they want safety vests closed toe shoes need to be required too.

I had a guy tell me I was to clean to be a trucker~I pride myself on being neat and presentable~was in training a few weeks ago during training we had to stay in a hotel and yes I had my own can of spray starch(that’s the military in me) 😂

Yeah some of these places will take more than what they are suppose to instead of reading the bills I've had that to happen a few times so when I have multiple stops I make sure they know but sometimes its well marked in the trash, and just so you know I think you always look good and I'm sure smell as good as you look 😊

I ran into that issue a few years ago where they took everything off the trailer. I assumed they would look over the bills and know that everything didn’t belong to them. Now I make sure to tell them when I have other stops to make just to prevent them wasting more time.

Hello! I was born in Fort Bragg and bred in Fayetteville/Hope Mills! I’m a local driver in Charlotte, NC. I haul steel drums. I agree that truck drivers need to be presentable especially us females. When I was OTR, I only ran 3 states: NC,SC, and VA. I kept an electric tea kettle, bath basins to wash up when I wasn’t able to get a shower. I also had my iron/iron board. People do treat you based on how you look and carry yourself. Keep up the good work.

Hi! I enjoy watching you do these runs. I work with truckers on the daily in Norfolk VA. I had to jump on and respond to your question about ‘dress code’ with drivers. Most of the local drivers wear uniforms. But, the OTR drivers are the ones who show up in holy pants/shorts, cutoff stained T’s, and yes…..flops or sandals!! Really?? That is so Unprofessional and it irks me to no end as a receiver. I could never imagine showing up for a work meeting dressed any way other than casual but professional, ya know? And SOME drivers offer to help us unload but we install exec office furniture. I’m sorry but if you’ve ever had a 900 lb desk fall on your foot, or a 90 lb mobile pedestal…..you wouldn’t wear flops, trust me!!! I secretly hope that happens when they do help us unload. LOL Just because you deserve it for dressing for work like a homeless slob!! 🤣 Keep up the good work and keep on truckin’ y’all. Girl power! 😁😁

A person should take pride in their appearance when getting out the truck.true there are ways to get shower if I had to pay I’ll do that. with prime our showers are free at loves. ❤❤ girl they took all my stuff off to at a Costco in morris Ill I had another stop to. Have you tried doing like an early morning shift like from like 1 o’clock to 12 so you could be in the hours of sales so you can get good loads cause it’s gonna be a struggle on getting good loads doing nights but love the video
