I have both and the Equate + V2 has a WAY FASTER glide overall compared to the my AC2 Sakura, (stock feet on DAV3 and core pads on Superlight).

I have the Jade dots coming and use the AC2. Hopefully I like the combo. Play more tracking heavy games and this should be mostly speed control, right?

You'll be on quite a speedy setup! Definitely more speed focused than control, but it will be quite enjoyable.

@@its_yifang the thing is the regular equate is a control pad and the equate v2 is supposed to be their 2nd fastest pad. so your findings are a little bit confusing.

Ac2 should be less rough, if still too rough for you, just use an arm sleeve cuz it glides fine

tried the Equate Plus V2 but aim feels very inconsistent and shaky especially when using a small light mouse. I mained an Artisan Zero for about 7 months now but it's gotten super muddy in the middle even after washing twice. which mousepad would you recommend? for val btw

Puretrak P-51 Mustang, LGG Saturn Pro, Pulsar ES2. These are definitely the ways to go, with Saturn Pro being closer to a Zero replacement. Other two are slightly faster but IMO better if you can learn to use them.

I thought the Equate Plus V2 was supposed to be faster than the Aqua Control II? That's the reason I bought the EQ+ V2, since it was advertised as being a faster pad on their website.

Definitely not the case in my experience here. The AC2 is noticeably faster.

@@perin5505 I think the Jade feels smoother but the speed with Tiger ice I don't think is that much difference and worth stressing over. Both are amazing skates and just work, perhaps jade is very slightly faster.

you arent meant to use a bunch of dot skates to form normal sized skates for more coverage. try using 4-8 total and see if you have a better experience with them
