Same... I know we're Ultramarines but I be totally honest, I want to have Deathguard armor. Seeing their armor in PvP is so cool. I could understand armor restrictions in PvP but in Operations let me be a Heretic. Lol

Thats true but its not even inherently the problem, space marine 1 only had 8 armor sets not counting dlc, but the variety in those armors carried it HARD. In the sequel, its all tacticus armor with different stuff glued on instead of the variety given by mark 6, mark 8 errent, veteran, etc.

I have 2 ideas which would make the customization much more flexible and controllable in general allowing for players to get closer to the exact look they desire. 1. All armor cosmetics should be separated from each other i.e the bulwarks hooded helmet with a skull should be divided into 3 parts which is the hood, helmet type, and accessory. (Also we should be able to change the color of each of these parts) 2. For arms, shoulder, and leg armor should be usable on either side of the body or have a mirrored version of the armor piece for the opposite side.

agree with pretty much everything you said, I want the beak helmet for my sniper and assault to get the raven guard look complete and my sniper needs all the cloak colors besides just green and grey. Also I want more presets so bad, its tough when I want to do alternative looks for existing chapters while also having some homebrew stuff too. My buddies all play with a grey knight look and so I cant play with them without deleting my imperial fist or salamander alternative looks or just being the odd man out. also more shades for colors would be so good, I want a more olive green for my raptors marines and I want a yellow that isnt imperial fist yellow or piss color yellow. also jesus christ please add more purples, I want a dark purple and a very bright almost pink purple so I can contrast them against each other and make it look almost like my armor glows. I just hope they add this stuff sooner than later, im fine waiting 2-3 months but if it takes 6 months to get a dark purple and 1 new universal helmet style im gonna be very disappointed

Very real, we desperately need beaky helmets along with mk7 aquilla, and the rest of the firstborn armors scaled up. I totally feel for you when it comes to more shades of colors too, im never using that piss yellow for anything lol.

@@CitrusBone_YT I've seen people use the piss yellow for angry Marines but it just doesn't work and lamenters would probably have a great yellow that would work for the middle ground

As an old gamer, this is a AAA game from 2000. Good? yeah it is but it's lacking. Just like the other great older games. Shame that's the best they can do. They even left out lens colors.

I believe the shield you were talking about towards the end on that class is actually customizable through the chest part, they might have a customizable part on the chest where you could change it but I'm assuming that it's just going to be a change-all type deal and you won't be able to get it to be different than your main chest color

Absolutely, you can change the shield by changing the chest or half of the chest color, but unfortunately no ability to have the shield a separate color from those pre established color maps

I'd also like some more stuff with chaos marines. The assault chaos marine is clearly a night lord, with the little bat wings. Weapon patterns would be nice too, a red boltgun is something some ultramarines got. Firstborn, character, face, quotes, the list goes on. The game still looks cool, but it could always be better.

Totally agree, there should at least be as much customization for chaos as there was is space marine 1, weapon casing colors and the rest of what you listed i would love to see added eventually. Anything to make me forget all the multiplayer characters are canonically all ultramarines lol.

the perk trees might be worse then darktide's was on release. In every coloumn most of the time there is one option that is okey and the rest suck. ofc something is going to become meta but this is just not fun, there is nothing to play around with
