Update! As per CTL_SMarcos comment below: In the file tab there is a "Save as Template" option and from there you can save that file as the "Default Template." An easier method Inkscape now includes that I was unaware of.

Thanks for the video. But in the file tab there is a Save Template option and from there you can save that file as default template. Basically, the same as you have done, but automatically, without having to look for folders to paste the file.

Wow! I had no idea they had added that option and even searched the web for it ;-) Thanks for the info. I'll update in another video on creating custom templates.
