Ok so be very careful, I mean very careful !!!! with the flex cable leading to the L1 L2 housing connector. They are thin like rice paper and tear easy. bruh, I had to order a replacement from the U.K. off of E-Bay. It's a good thing I have a second PS5 controller otherwise I would have had to make a late night stop to good ol Walmart.

Thanks to you guys. I have done 3 of PS5 controllers. Plans to do a forth soon. More like in a few weeks. Just waiting for the Parts to get to my house. But of all my Controllers. My Scarlet Red one is my favorite. I literally put the guts of PS5 White Controller inside a brand new Controller Shell. My friends say I have the Spider-Man Controller due to the red, blue colors. I used for the whole controller.

L2/R2 replacements are sticking, like the trigger stops half way down and locks up. I can't seem to get it right and think there's excess plastic in the way on the (assuming) printed part. Any suggestions?

i know this video is over 1 year old at this point. but do you guys sell shells for the newer DualSense controllers? i just bought two brand new DualSense controllers and they look completely different inside (tough white Flex cables, completely different internal touchpad design, completely different front shell mold design that does not use the two screws shown in 4:00 etc) i've been looking at your shells but this video shows me a completely different DualShock controller (inside)

Their shells now are compatible with BDM30. It always shows on the listing which model it’s compatible with and for these the installation is just slightly different with less screws but the process is the same

Please try to clean up the back side of the touchpad and then apply the touchpad board back. When you apply it back, heat it up a bit and press them hard to make them stick better

I went to Walmart so I could buy a PS5 controller, and exchange my old one with stick drift, but they only had the colored ones. So, I used what I learned from this video to swap out the guts of the controllers, and returned the old controller with the colored shell on it.
