I am a HUGE keyboard nerd myself and the GMMK Pro is amazing. In my opinion a little overpriced, but still an amazing keyboard. It is one of the best. In my opinion if you have already overspent your budget I would get some either Gateron Yellows or Akko CS Rose Red or Matcha Greens for liners. For tactile idk. Also some good budget keycaps are the Bloom Artifact keycaps. They have a good price and look amazing. I have then and they are AMAZING. However, with these only buy the ready to ship ones that usually have a discount (45USD-39USD). I have the Vintage type and they look amazing and are high quality. Overall I want to see the finished product! I recently made one for myself and I am in the process of making one for my friend and my dad. If you are into tactiles, I don't know much about them.

The Gmmk pro is rly stiff so you should tempest mod and no bottom foam or pe foam in the bottom

Last words - "shit, I did it", lol. Well, nice choices. I didn't know anything about customizing keyboards. My laptop came with a keyboard. It's fine. It's backlit, which I like. The keys don't need to be lubed. One interesting point - I have seen the future, and in 20 years keyboards will be obsolete. No one uses them anymore. Or computers for that matter.

I really like the GMMK Pro but since some of the keycaps aren't a standard size, you're almost forced to use their keycaps
