Maybe in your next map guide you could include a map in one corner of the screen that shows approximately where you are walking so that new players can learn to read the map themselves, I remember this was something that I struggled with when I was new.

Yep I'll do that on the next ones. I would of had that for this one (i know its slack that i didn't) but the patch notes came out and I made the video for that then when i uploaded that to youtube it had some weird flickers so I had to spend hours fixing that and had to rush out the customs because it was already 2am for me. You were the first Tarkov KZbinr I found, inspired me to buy the game, and are still my favorite Tarkov KZbinr. Thanks for all the great videos it's unbelievably helpful. To anyone trying to wrap their heads around the geography of this map I would encourage you all to just go get a map and play a handful of offline matches with AI or without, up to you, and you will learn how to get around from there. Unless you can look at where he is and be like "Oh I know where that is" this probably won't help you too much. But now that I do know my way around this video is excellent for learning just what exactly you can do with it. And when.

The thing I've noticed the most with those that have been playing this game for a long time... That being the speed of their videos is so fast one would have to slow down the video in settings or watch many times to find out where you've been and where you are going... If you're going for the fastest explanation for this game you are one of the top videos and clearly over-caffeinated... For me, the most important part of this game is how the heck to get out... @@GegeBegge haha, slightly maybe. but i stopped playing for now (real life > tarkov). this game needs attention and practice, otherwise it won´t be fun for me. i found out playing solo is my best experience both for learning the game and having more fun, but to make the most out of it i have to constantly play. which i can´t for the moment. thanks for the laugh though, next time i´ll consider if i can give a proper answer to questions on my prior comment before saying such things :)

It's been 30min since I failed a Scav run. LOADED, full of glee, I was rushing down to the "old gas station" and didn't know where it is. I had an app open and thought I was there by my assumptions... Turns out I was at the "military checkpoint". At the last 10min I tried to google it, no dice. Then I find your video and my eyes open... Thanks is all can say, your the only guy that showed me in detail how to get there.

Thank you so much for doing this, I just started playing and trying to catch up with the insane map knowledge more experienced players already have. Watching your video with the map of the level pulled up on my second monitor, tracking where you go and seeing the actual real distance between locations in-game, helps a LOT. I highly recommend doing this for other new players as well!

Haha, the far left landbridge(facing construction) is probably the calmest of the 3 for NA, because players love camping that checkpoint next to mid land-bridge. Either that, or i've just gotten really lucky in spawning either too close or too far, cause i've never ran into players on that landbridge(left facing construction) even if the smugglers boat is open. As for the L, some people call it alley, on construction, i wouldnt say avoid it at all costs. If there havent been any shots and you've cleared the back of the alley, you can push up to the corner of the building that scav sniper sits on and wait a minute or two. Honestly, it happens to be my favorite way to push Construction because if there is a squad in construction and youre along the back wall, unless they're planning on heading that way, you wont be noticed at all. the only way you can get pinched by a squad in that situation/spot is if you stay static. Say, you're along the backwall, drop a dude whose squad was up on construction(3 man scenario), you're either going to duck back down behind the mounds or go full tilt sprint through the break in the wall leading to the roadblock. the 1st of those two choices makes it easy for you to get pinched, but the second one lets you reposition just fast enough you should be able to catch the dude trying to flank you, be able to return to alley/L, and finish the last guy. This is all assuming you dont get the milsim 5-man squad who spread like 25-30M each and sweep the map. lol

so far i havent found a single Tarkov Beginners Guide that talks about where Extracts Are and How to Get To Them from Key Areas in the Map. ive done 10 or 15 Offline Runs of Customs and still havent the slightest Clue on Extracts, but i can see all 100 Videos of Fast Talking and Loot Spawns. this is frustrating.

The backpack spawn in the office can have keys inside the backpack, I've found MBSS bags there with keys inside, I found a marked and factory key inside the bag the first time I got it to spawn.

Have you also noticed the sound is a bit bugged? Sometimes it sounds like you're inside when you're outside, and the only way to reset it is to go inside a building.

I was extracting the other day at ZB-1011 and after having seen this video I chucked a grenade into the bushes that are like overlooking the exit and then simply shot into the other bush and to my delight some guy was forced to run out of his vantage point because of the grenade. I have never seen an extract camper there before that so it was kind of strange but yeah now I am always paranoid someone is there lol

thanks to this guide and one of the maps you linked, I survived my fourth raid and got my first successful raid. The map is so confusing lol, i thought i was at train bridge when i was at the train behind the gas station and a bunch of other confusions multiple times but i got out with an akm and some kinda shotgun. Some tard with a mosin pinned me down at the extraction but i got out anyway.

If you have standard edition you should have a 2x2 alpha container in your storage, if you equip it you don't lose it or its contents

This game is really difficult. I've been used to faster shooters like BF and CoD. I've played 10 rounds so far, and I've died in all of them, before being able to extract anything. So I'm down to joining as a Scav, trying to just get to the extract point now.
