I made five birds today using your method. It works great! I scaled them up about 50% to make the bandsaw work easier for me. They will be presents for my kids for Christmas… maybe a nice tree ornament? Thanks for the cool idea!

That's brilliant. Bigger is always better, what wood did you use?

Don’t think I’ve ever cut a 3D shape on the bandsaw the taping together tip is a great 👍
@TheTejasfilm2 жыл бұрын
I've watched a lot of videos on people doing the same with reindeer! I need a larger bandsaw now!
@puddinggeek46235 ай бұрын
An excellent video as always. I have tried a few compound cutting projects on the bandsaw. This is another one to try out. Keep up the great work.

First of all thank you for making the video. And offering the plans for free I'm definitely going to give it a go. But I want to thank you for all the funny jokes especially the power sanding, It truly made me laugh

Thank you for your very kind words, the way that the birds appear from a pile of wood feels like magic. I hope that you enjoy using the templates and go easy with the sanding.

Simple, yet captivating. I definitely want to have a go at these - taping the pieces together tops trying to hold it all with soft fingers or using nails.

Thanks, the first time you pull a bird out of a pile of wood feels like magic. Five stars Would definitely recommend

Outstanding! I discovered your site while watching glue dry on some legs I'm making for a workbench. Cannot wait to try something else besides reindeer.

That's cool you just made my day. I recommend using an 1/8 inch blade and take it slow on the tight curves. If you post pictures of your results online please send me a link.
