Nearly 8 years after the fact and finally finding someone who instructs/teaches. Can't tell you how many videos I have given up trying to understand with no word being spoken, just mouse clicks. Issue, in a good way, here, is you have to go over each little bit again and again since there is so much content other than just cut and paste Late, but thanks!

All the eraser does for me, is turn everything white, it removes the whole background

how do you get multiple layers in win 7 version of paint?

What am I doing wrong? Cut does not work for me. :-( I make a box, click Move Selected pixels, then cut. When I paste into a new layer, I get a layer with only the dotted line outline. When I copy paste, on the original layer, again I just get the dotted lines but no image.
