I am considering starting a cut flower garden on our property. This was very helpful! Although, I wanted to reach through the screen and give your husband a gentle punch in the face at his "only halfway wasting time" comment. Could you imagine what we could accomplish without the hassle of men?! 😆

Greetings from Toronto, Canada. I had to pause the video @1:35 to make this comment and let your cat know I saw his black tail and I acknowledge his presence. He is so adorable!!!!! Ok now I’ll go back to watch the rest of the video and try to focus hard to learn something from you. By the way I love, love, love your cut flower garden. If I lived in the neighbourhood I’d come over and say hello and buy a bouquet from your farm.

Do you have any videos on maintenance early in the season. I feel like there are lots of how to start and how to harvest tutorials, but not a lot of month to month maintenance. what do you do along the way to promote the maximum amount of growth. I am assuming keep cutting blooms?

I blame this video for me spending £20 on seeds in 5 minutes of watching it 😆 my husband is not happy about the new flower bed he has to build on top of the 5 he already has on his list of things to do Absolutely gorgeous bouquet 💐 thanks so much 💐💐💐

The comments from the husband about wasting time because only half the bouquets sell was clearly hurtful. Passive aggressive that seems to stem from a previous, private conversation. Keep that private. This is an older video and hopefully he doesn't do this often.

Hi! I noticed you plant your cut fabric garden right in the dirt without any fabric. How do you prevent weeds from drowning them out? Do you have any weeds? One area of my cut flower garden has no fabric and flowers couldn't grow through the weeds.

You can use Neem oil but you would want to cut off all the flowers to prevent them from being visited by bees. For bad infestations often it is best to simply destroy the plant and replant something in its place. I usually have trouble with mites in my potted plants, rarely in the garden. If you are working with pots get rid of the plant and soil then clean your pot thoroughly before repotting. Good Luck!
