Hi from oklahoma. I'm seeing a man for 3 yrs now. He is hot and cold. I back off and he comes back . When I start feeling a little comfortable , he will leave for a week or two. I was supportive and respectful, I got ignored, sometimes I got a response within minutes, other times within days and other within a week, I told him I liked him alot and he messaged me over a few days then all of a sudden ignored me/ghosted me. I was respectful and supportive. He didn't respect me in return, , if he didn't want to speak to me he should have told me. That is having respect for someone Now I understand why his life is so difficult, he treats people badly and I didn't deserve to be treated like that.

I recently met a man who was interested, said he wanted to meet for coffee, but he keeps having reasons to not be available... i.e., a business trip; or has to work, etc. I'm ready to cut him off as this has turned me off. He contradicts himself all the time, saying he works on weekends, but if I complain, he says he has weekends off. Then he'll send texts saying he wants to meet, but never makes it happen. He is never available. I'm sick of his games. If I ignore him, he'll text me and tell me what I want to hear. I am ignoring him now and will not respond to his bs anymore.

I was in a similar situation for months, he said he doesn't want a serious relationship because he travels a lot, buisines and so on, then he said he is afraid to be closer because he loses passion, but every time when i tried to stop seeing him, he appeared with a nice message or something to hold me interested, well i felt in love, told him many times (mistake), but he said he wants to be just friends...., we wasn't just friends, there were feelings, but he said not enough for him.... anyway, i was patient, but he needed freedom all the time, even that we saw us few times in a month, funny, anytime i said something i dont like he said we incompatible.... then he left, now all is over, he said he never loved me and never even been in love with me...., the strange thing is that i feel that he has some traumas from rejections, ex wife so on, but i am tired, heartbroken and is dificult with that kind of person, as all the time he looked, that he is trying to make things work between us, but nothing happend...

This video has helped me a lot. I really benefited from the part that says ash him: WHAT MAKES YOU FEEL LOVED? And GIVING HIM SPACE. It may not change my situation much but I feel it’s definitely worth a try. It just seems like every time I make progress with this favorite man I like, I get angry about something he does or I get overly emotional and cause distance between us. Develop new interest, do something that you've never done before because of lack of time or resources. If you're a Christian like me, rely on Christ. Sad when it's your husband who's interest is low! .. Even more dad when I couldn't see it... He started working out if town two years ago... He didn't need to talk to me everyday then... Our closest friends are shocked he left me. It has taken me exactly 12 months, which is this month, to be able to walk away... Here is the scary part... I've never told a husband no for sex, I always wanted it more than they did andt this is husband's #3 and the third husband to chest. When after ii realized I needed to move on my friends would call this one a douche bag that hurt. . We are both 62.
