In a year I’ll be cutting my dreads too. God bless you brother, thank you for your sacrifice ❤

I used to have dreads and I cut mine off long before I went to BMT. They were down to my shoulders. Mentally prepare yourself for BMT and get ready for the texas heat.

@@imjustrel It’s too easy then. Just remember your customs and courtesies and also know your chain of command/rank.

I got into the air national guard as a dental assistant, so glad I got into Medical. I’m in student flight. I don’t have a ship date but I got my job list after passing ASVAB and MEPS July 11th 2024. I’m all ready studying for tech school. I’m trying to pass the certs so I can get a civilian job when I get back home from BMT and tech school. (I’m in the air national guard so I’m still at home) thanks for posting your journey and good luck with the journey. I hope you get something medical lol

Would u suggest the marines ?
@morbidzombii3 ай бұрын
Only join the marines if your heart is set on being a marine. You join the marines for the title because that’s you’re getting. Anything else you were hoping to do throw it out of the window. You become a marine to be a marine and a marine only while in service.

I go to MEPS in two weeks. My recruiter told me they have a religious exemption for it. Did you ever look into it?
