You don‘t have that much volume in your hair, nexttime you try this cut, try parting your front half a lot further towards your face, so you don‘t take away all the volume from your lengths… Start behind your ears, but then go up in a 45 degree angle and take less for your face framing

she might have wanted to take away the volume. thats why I cut layers into my very voluminous hair. Its very heavy and I wanted the weight gone. People like you might think it doesn't look as good but its hard to deal with a lot of volume in hair and just let people make their own decisions about it.

@@xiaosloverr yeah they do but don’t expect it to look anything like hers. It adds a lot of volume to curly hair, specially if styled well with a leave in conditioner, gel and then diffused. Also additionally if your hair tends to curl even at the ends try cutting off a little less than what you might think is the right length for the face framing bits as the length of strands becomes shorter once the hair curls. Like for example she cuts her face framing bits to the length of her jaw, her upper lip and then the tip of her nose. Cut off lesser and then see from there if you need to trim off more. You can’t add hair once its chopped off and if you cut off too much, you’ll land up with short irritating strands that do absolutely nothing but get in your face specially the sweeping bangs.

More over it got rid of a lot of the split ends and made my hair feel airier and bouncy. If you have really curly hair that is 3b and above it doesn’t really work. Mine is a 2c/3a type curl pattern, so it’s a much looser curl.
