Got the same but with wharncliffe blade since I have a regular Delica 4. The curved spine looks amazing when closed. I love both. Thanks for the video and congrats.

I was gifted my Delica 4 a couple months ago. It was my first nice pocket knife. I ordered a Pacific Salt 2 last week for my trip to Maui coming up. I wanted a bigger knife that would cut pineapple I buy on the side of the road, and also take into the ocean with me. I guess the Pacific Salt 2 is to the Endura what the Salt 2 is to the Delica, and the Endura is just a bigger Delica. I’m excited for the Pacific Salt 2 to show up, I think it is going to be sweet to have in Maui. When I first went to Maui, two years ago, I wasn’t in the habit of carrying pocket knives. When we got there, and saw all the fresh fruit you can get cheaply on the side of the road, we realized that we needed to pack a knife when we went back!

I live in the tropics. (Humidity. Fresh fruit from street vendors everywhere.) So I wonder if VG-20 is not stain resistant enough and LC200N is required. Thanks for sharing any thoughts.

Let my wife carry my lc200n salt 2 or Delica 4 when we go to work and she’s washed the salt twice and it’s the same as when I got it out the box besides a little scratch on the finish 🤣

I sharpen my knives all the time and S30VN is awesome. I guess because I drag my knives over my Spyderco Sharpmaker it never seems laborious.

I have a Pacific Salt. I love the Endura so it's natural that I would love the Salt version even more. Unfortunately mine has horrible lock rock. it clunks when you cut with it on a cutting board. Quite dissapointing.

My Pacific Salt 2 has horrible lock rock too. I’m going to throw it in the fishing bag, and forget about it. It will be great for a fishing bag knife, I think, but I ordered a Caribbean to take to Hawaii this summer.

I don't fully understand the Salt line usefulness for most people. I can't make the basic VG10 Delica rust in my life. I don't stay away from water, but I don't spend time in salt water.

IMO where you live has a lot to do with it. In the tropics, I can have sweet literally dripping off of the blade after pulling it out of my pocket after a walk (not even run) around town (not even by the beach) because of the heat & humidity. I've never had VG-10, but FWIW I've had S30v rust on me.

It would be a good knife for food prep. You can wash it off with soap and water and not worry

Wow that design 🗡️⚔️🔪 like it fell from ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down 😂🤣😂 jokes aside Spyderco is more on usage design then looks 👍🏻
