I saw threefold thunderhulks image included in the video and a decent amount of people suggesting it elsewhere, how come It didn’t make the final cut? Too high cmc? Better options?

I love the whole idea of Bello and he's the perfect place for some of my favorite vehicles like Skysovereign, Nautiloid Ship, and Thunderhawk Gunship.

Skysovereign is the one addition I made before this video came out I’m likely to keep in the deck. I also added hoard hauler and smugglers buggy, but I’m swapping them for some of the better ideas presented in the video.

Yeah, Bello in a vehicle themed build seems really fun and was the other way I would have taken him if the base build didn't lean more into enchantments out of the gate.

Kind of have been waiting for your upgrade video, and I'm pleasantly surprised that I upgraded my Bello with several of your upgrade options! Still tinkering with it, but I definitely gonna have to purchase a few more cards for my Trash Panda! Thanks for the video!

Great upgrade ideas. You basically addressed all the issues I saw with this precon, not that it was bad, in fact even un-upgraded it's still a winner. I'd love to see a build around the Odd Acorn Gang.

I have this deck and my GF has the Squirreled Away one. playing them against each other has led to some really close matches, so i've been looking forward to this upgrade video. and we look forward to the next one you're doing for Squirreled Away so we can keep things evenly matched.

So many things i wholeheartly agree with . All your changes are good Nylea God of the Hunt is another good one, Even Nylea's Forerunners for the Trample I do like Solemn Simulacrum and Scampering Surveyor as 4/4 creature that ramp Aligned Hedron Network is a "good" "board wipe" And so many others. The list I brewed have 49 differences with the Precon List Flameshadow Conjuring, Court of Embereth, Frontier Siege are some cool enchantment that could also be mentionned I also like to change all ramp for Enchantment ramp to trigger the enchantress draw

Nice deck upgrade list ! If I may suggest you I'll keep an open spot for "Overlord of the Hauntswood", a card coming out in few days with duskmourn which is nuts with bello, since u can cast it for just 3 mana and it generates you 1 land upon entering and each time it attacks, so just for putting it on the battlefields u ramp up 2 token lands

The ruling for bellos ability actually allows it to still activate even if he’s defeated from combat

Its definitely finicky and requires you to understand "layers." The other thing I just learned is an enchantment like darksteel mutation that removes abilities etc, pretty much shutting most creatures down, doesnt actually affect Bello the way people think it does. Because of layers his effects still take place. Its wild really.

What a great list! Have you thought about switching some of the ramp to enchantment based ramp such as utopia sprawl, which could possibly trigger some of the enchantment matter cards?

With Goreclaw I just wanted to mention that since all our enchantments are technically entering as power 4 creatures, its discount applies to them

Sadly not, as on the stack they are not yet creatures, only after they entered the battlefield.

@@MalteLewandowski 611.3c Continuous effects that modify characteristics of permanents do so simultaneously with the permanent entering the battlefield. They don’t wait until the permanent is on the battlefield and then change it. Because such effects apply as the permanent enters the battlefield, they are applied before determining whether the permanent will cause an ability to trigger when it enters the battlefield

@@ssstylish4638 yes but cost reduction is calculated when you cast the spell, at this time it is still an enchantment or artifact spell and not a creature spell.

@MalteLewandowski Ah that makes sense. So any triggered effects that involve creatures entering would still trigger, but effects like this would not apply since they aren't creatures when you go to cast them?

Yeah, one more precon upgrade after this and then an alternate commander build - but I can see what I can do about putting Finneas, Ace Archer in a future poll for ya.

my one suggestion, do NOT cut Grothama! I dont think he understood how good it is in this deck, dont think of her as a creature, think of her as a draw 8 for 5 mana sorcery because you drop her after you have two enchantments out that the commander has animated, they attack, fight Grothama (and they dont die cause they are indestructible) and you get an easy 8 cards plus more if any of those enchantments connect
