@@Weensy In those situations I manually go in and cut the other mic that isn’t in use throughout the entire convo… I’ve done automatically with gates before but this was basically my job for many years editing podcasts, radio, and tv commercials. Nothing beats the sound of cutting the other mic when not in use

i think this feature does well if you have to do something really quick, but if you really wanna be accurate and match the movement of the subject also, it's better to do it by manually. still cool to know that this exists!

It’s also a good way to create an outline of what you want quickly. It may require fine tuning afterwards but it’s nice to reorder things in the bin and keep applying them to the timeline to see what sticks out. Thanks for the continued support Weensy!

Only way I could think of is if you close your eyes 😑 and randomly click and drag the clips around the bin and then hit automate 😅. Primitive, but just may work 🤷‍♂️. Seems like a good add-on though.
