I'm a teen and I want to eventually get married and have a family. However, I feel like right now is just not the right time. It'd be difficult trying to manage a relationship on top of school, work, volunteering, and daily life. Personally, I believe it's best to practice patience and self control until the time comes. I also don't really believe in "falling in love" because a relationship that's built on emotion is very unstable (emotions change, so if a relationship is built on emotion, then the emotional change will cause a change in the relationship). I see love as an action, like someone willingly doing something for another person because they choose to love them. It's committing to caring for, having patience with, respecting, comforting, and more for another person. While I do hope to be blessed with someone who truly loves me that I can also truly love, I realize that it's ideal to prepare myself for life while waiting for that person instead of just dreaming or rushing into things. I hope that my words encourage any other teen who also wishes they could just have someone who actually loves them. You don't have to be the best at everything or look the best for someone to love you, just be who you were created to be and strive to practice good attributes. Know that you are loved and adored by an eternal God who will willingly adopt you. He will meet you where you are, He hears your cries, He provides, He protects, and more whenever you decide to let Him. Also know that I love you. ❤❤❤
