@@sola_a introvert - a shy, reticent person. Reticent - not revealing one's thoughts or feelings readily. like I said, an introvert. I normally don’t like revealing my thoughts or feelings to someone because I always thought “no one cares, so why waste the breath” I was shy as well, i just didn’t like talking to people. I always thought I was bothering people if did or say anything. In a relationship, communicating is key. Try dating a guy who doesn’t like to talk and make conversation. It’s boring basically right?
@sola_a3 жыл бұрын
@@hvcky not what an introvert is. Introvertiert and extroversion is all about energy. An extrovert gets his energy from being around people and feels drained when they are not. An introvert can interact with others but will feel drained over time and has to recharge by being alone. Being introverted has nothing to do with being shy or being bad at communication, there are other words for that. As an introvert, I'm just annoyed with people misusing the term for there awkwardness. About your problem: I'm going to assume you're a minor/teen (correct me if I'm wrong). Trust me, most teenagers are like this. You'll grow our of it to an extend as you grow and experience more of life. I was like that too, still am a bit. What helped me was realizing that people don't actually care. Think about it, how many times a day do you think about one specific person and analyze their behavior? You don't right? So why would others? Everyone has their own issues to face, so why would something as stupid as your awkwardness be something that bothers them? The only one who actually cares is you. Stop caring. We only live on this earth once, it's too short of a time to be shy. You are correct, you won't have a good relationship before you fix your communications problem.

This and so many of Cut’s videos should get more praise because of the norms they’ve exploiting. Like many commenters here, I am and always will be a major believer that communication is the key no matter the situation. If something’s going on, communicate. If you’re feeling a certain way, communicate. Doing so can be easier said than done, but even the simplest of calls/texts can provide an amount of closure to someone in need of it. Even though that person may not be as present in your life as they once were, they’re still a time stamp in your life. Thank you Cut and keep it up!

I do that when they deserve it. Had a manipulative ex that kept trying to rope me back in cuz I was weak. Then my first ex immediately after breaking up with me starting being petty and posting pics with a new person.
@miasakura19333 жыл бұрын
@@callhard depends from which perspective you view it. Generally speaking a break up equals to move on. Breaking up as in Breaking off of that person. If keeping text threads, pictures and so on drag you down then getting rid of them is pretty mature and reasonable. But I agree, to keep being friends with your ex is possible and awesome. Though some circumstances do not allow to make such work out and that is perfectly fine as well :).
@Akamai_253 жыл бұрын
I purge everything after a breakup also, delete numbers/block them on everything. I want nothing to do with them when it’s an official breakup. I remember people saying “that’s so immature of you to pretend he doesn’t exist!”…like ok? SORRY if I don’t want to be best friends with my ex’s?? Like wth? Mind your business because this is how some people start moving on
@aus-li3 жыл бұрын
@@Akamai_25 I thought like that too, but if you considered your ex a best friend when you were dating them, and you had similar personalities…then why not give it a chance? Just a thought.

The lady who had the serial cheater broke my heart, those relationships are so draining. Where one person is giving it their all and the other person is only saying they're giving it their all. That is the definition of stringing someone on and it's so hard to go against the hope of what they're telling you and trust they're shitty actions instead. It means giving up on someone you'd do anything for, including waste away by their side. It's hard to choose your own wellbeing when accepting relationship breakdown would cause you so much pain short term. Know that the average female gets over a breakup in 3 months. That's an average of 84 days. We feel all the loss and pain and then we stand up stronger. My heart goes out to you and I hope your inner healing is still going strong 💕
@Nat-wi1ro Жыл бұрын
yep i felt for her since my abusice ex is also so nonchalant. ive learned that some people are just givers and some are takers and a relationship with one of each will led to resentment and heartbreak. we keep making excuses for them which only makes it harder to detach and move on. Im glad she didnt marry him i could only imagine how much more toxic that relationship might have become when adding in marriage. its so hard giving up on someone and your relationship but you are giving up on yourself when you stay. I hope shes healing
@wsawyer3503 жыл бұрын
Wow this hit me so hard , a lot of them now know what went wrong but back then they had no idea . You have to meet the right person at the right time , otherwise you don’t have the maturity to hold on to the good things that life offers to you. We learn from the history and become a better person but we no longer have a second chance to stand by each other’s side .

I really relate to the bloke who said he was in the military. I was living in Japan through the pandemic and tried to keep a long distance relationship going but ultimately the biggest problem on my end was communication. The idea of a long distance relationship is great, but it’s a lot easier said than done. Hope they’re both good now. 🙏🏼

I recently broke up with my first bf after 2 years and 9 months . We had been in the long distance relationship and only last few months he moved to a place further away and he had been struggling a bit. One reason was that we dun have much memories together & We only had less than a month of staying together in our entire relationship. he is also going to move to another country so much harder to meet up. So he couldn’t keep the relationship. I couldn’t give up but he did in the end. I am grateful he did cuz I could never even when I know it’s not working out. Broke up just few days ago and I still cry myself to sleep. Long distance is a lot harder than it’s said, I got much more respect for people making LDR work.

I will never do a long distance relationship again. That led to the downfall of my engagement, I'm pretty certain. But stupid me, I thought our love had been strong enough to withstand the distance for one year. Two things I learned: 1) Love is not enough. You need to constantly reinforce that foundation, and when you're doing it from far away, it's not going to be as stable. 2) It can fall apart surprisingly fast. Don't take it for granted that the relationship is as strong as you think it is.

I didn't have EXs, just dates that either didn't show up or canceled it. Other people who knew them told me that they were either trying to make someone else jealous or their friends, including the person talking to me, convinced my "date" that she can DEFINITELY do better. No trials and/or tribulations. Just straight, "Nope!".
