Actually they have cut cars in half, when they turned them into stretch limos. Clarkson's and Hammond's both caught fire, with Clarkson's limo later collapsing upon itself

MrChopper0077 the channel 7 news reporters no all news reports in Australia are like that with the same clip over and over, and then there is the adds over and over. I didn't think any thing of it and enjoyed watching the clips. Funny what you get used to isn't it.

I just have to say, WOW. Not only the car itself and all the parts, but that you show us some of the trouble you go into to make this, it makes us realize how much time and effort goes into F1 racing, which makes it more exciting (every time we see a bump or near-crash we're thinking "oh no, there they could've lost tens of thousands of manhours of work!").

There is no maximum. In general: the shorter and lighter, the better. Anyone taller than 1m90 would probably be very hard to fit into the car...
