I love my American Eskimo, he is smart, energetic, full of energy, and so loyal and can't show enough love!! I got him at four years of age, and bet he was adorable as a puppy, but he is precious and beautiful no matter what!!

I just adopted my beautiful American Eskimo so yes you can rescue them. Has luxating patella in his hind legs so will eventually need surgery but he runs around like crazy and chases my kitties 🐱 they are starting to tolerate him lol He’s 3 months and a little holy terror and he looks EXACTLY like yours 💕💕💕 I wish I could attach a pic!

SuperKami Guru46 I’m not sure where you live but we’re in Ontario, Canada and got ours from a breeder. We have since learned more about breeders and also the abundance of dogs that need homes and we would only rescue or adopt a dog in future rather than go to a breeder. They are very high energy dogs and most eskies bark a lot. Abbie is precious to us but I would only suggest eskies for people who have the time and energy to dedicate to physically and mentally exercising their dog for several hours every day. If you have a baby and a busy work life they are not the best choice.

Yes, they come in Full size, Miniature and Toy. The Toy is the smallest. Abbie is a Miniature and she's 15lbs.

I found a Pomeranian/Eskimo mix puppy online with some black on its face.its not as expensive as most Eskies online and it is the only one I can find that won’t grow up to be a big dog that is close for me to pick up.but I think I a pure white one more than the one with black.which one should I get?

Lyndsey’s arts and Buildings If it has a little patch of black it’s probably not a pure Eskie. This can actually be a good thing, as mixed breed dogs can be less likely to have health issues, thanks to genetic diversity.

Sapphire Contraire - That is much too expensive. Many breeders are trying to charge as much as they can get away with and are ripping people off. If we could go back in time we would not support breeders, but instead rescue a dog that needs a loving home and would otherwise be put down.
