Animals has special sense to understand the touch. The baby trusted you. I had one during my school days n he used to travel in my shirt pocket for a bicycle ride. They need food n are very playful. Enjoy.

You're exactly right. The squirrel in my emoji is my pet squirrel Bella. I raised her from a baby she lives outside and she also lives inside my house wherever she wants to go. She has great sense of what kind of person a person is. Some people she will let hold her and pet her and she'll play with you. However there are some people that come over to my house that she attacks them scratches and bites them she wants nothing to do with them. Squirrels are very very smart. Remember one thing if you ever want to raise a squirrel, that squirrel owns you you do not own that squirrel.🐿😆

Come to any British city, we have LOTS and they have no fear of humans (and bonus we don’t have rabies here). I’ve been in a public park many times and had squirrels climb up me to see if I have any food! In the London parks where the tourists hang out there are loads and they’re really fat because everybody is feeding them McDonalds. Also friendly parakeets so it’s possible to have a squirrel and a parrot on either shoulder!

yeah they are, a long time ago i live in a place with some tree squirrels and one of them would come up to me when i got home from work and wanted nuts and treats, it was super friendly and we were friends till i moved out of the place but one time i had a peanut in my hand and just it taking it from my fingers my finger got cut and it didn't even really bite it just grapped the nut and cut my finger, not much but kinda like a papercut or light razor cut and it obviously wasn't even trying to bite me just grabbing the peanut.

I love squirrels, that said, you can't let them 'play bite' you, they bite at something like 100,000 pounds of pressure per square inch, and then there's rabies, you can get close, but not too close!, I knew an old lady who fed a squirrel like this and when it got older it almost bit her thumb off, good luck
