Cute but Dangerous - Timelapse

Here is a rough timelapse of my "cute but dangerous" artwork for week 70 of the #weeklyCGC. Some parts are missing (like where I modeled the sword) sorry about that :3
Music is mostly from NCS, and a couple of old Shadows songs at the end. Enjoy :)

Give zbrush 2 hours a day, every day, every week, month and trust me . You'll be banging this type of models.. I was just like you but the more you use zbrush the more creative and faster you get.. Cheers!

This is a long video. Look at what you did, that amazed me. How long it takes you to complete this? How did you learn all this? I'm just learning because I like animation but when I started to read all the article I feel sleepy. :D. Basically not move inch after sometime.

***** I've been using blender since 2009, on an average of about 4-5 hours per day I'd say. I spent the first year or so just learning the ins and outs, and that really paid off. I'm not a fast learner, and there weren't many good tutorials back then, so it took longer than it should have. I recommend you try finding at least a couple of hours per day to practice, decide what you want to make (ie, cars, characters, architecture, environments) and stay dedicated to learning that. CG is an incredibly diverse industry, and one can never hope to master every single aspect of it.

***** you'll need good tutorials to keep you going, so I recommend the following popular youtube channels for blender: tutor4u (beginner), BlenderGuru (beginner -intermediate level), Gleb Alexandrov (intermediate), CG Geek (beginner - advanced).

Ok. I've got the cube in front of me. now what. lol. Nice video. I really hope I can do that one day. I know little to nothing. I know how to model. Can I model? No, not well, but I still know how. One of the things I want to know the most is, how did you do the hair, eyelashes/eyebrows? Of you can't explain it, can you link me to a video tutorial, please? I need to learn about the node editor eventually and maybe cycle render. Is one better than the other? Blender Render or Cycles render?

It depends what you would like to do.. Blender is awesome for modeling, retopology, animation, rigging, effects, rendering etc. Where Zbrush is absolutely un-beatable at sculpting. I love to use both of them together: Zbrush for sculpting, Blender for almost everything else.
