Not 100% true. Voodoo doll ignores the whole "immune to spells and hero powers" thing. And also isn't even bothered by any spell-related secrets/counters(burgly bully for example). But... doesn't "silence" the deathrattles.

John Smith rush enables you to attack enemy minions during 1 turn, but not the hero. The minion with rush can then attack the hero next turn. Icehowl has charge, yes, but he just can't entirely attack heros.

the thing is that odd mage is a control deck (at least in trump's case) so you don't need to be aggressive, you're trying to mix tempo and control which doesn't really work. a control deck only needs to survive the early game and get as much value late game as possible.

Harrison jones is a tech card, so you put it in a deck when you think you'll run into weapons often enough. it can be replaced by any card that fits the deck or if you see a lot of weapons then you add ooze as a tech card instead

The point of Odd Mage is to control the board with the upgraded hero power UNTIL YOU CAN DRAW INTO JAINA. I would take the Icy Touch hero power over the Fireblast Rank 2 EVERY day of the week. Also it's just fun to try new deck ideas that Baku and Genn offer.

Hey Trump ive seen you twitch around with this deck with overspark. which led you to put this mage on a back burner. This comp is way more promising tho (no overspark and an extra kalimos). going 80% win rate with this over 20ish games. Just play a little more for the elemental game, no need to stall it out to get jaina in most of my matches as elemental game rollerballs most decks out of the way. jaina is not a card that i have to use that often, but if i do, it does it gives me the advantages needed in the very long game vs control decks. Sometimes mulligans keep giving high cards tho, if that happens against extremely offensive decks i tend to lose tho. luckily enough we have enough shield cards to stall the game. some stats : i.imgur.com/X9hnbtA.png I hope you got some use from my advice, even tho im a novice at best.

8mana 4/8 dragon taunt that deals 2 dmg. Geddon plays a defense role. So dragon is a good replacement for it. Maybe there is a better put thats is what my buddies are doing since they don't have Geddon Primal Drake, (lol forgot the name)

CamTheKitty check heartharena . Most paladin decks are below 4k dust and run at most 2 legendaries. They also started using a lot more cards from the basic set like stormwind champion , raid leader and frostwolf warlord. It's definitely way better than what it was before rotation

f2p seems decent this time around. Baku I think is going to be one of the best crafts for budget minded players. Baku hunter seems ok. Baku Mage with Jaina seems good. Baku paladin is top tier at the moment. Baku Rogue seems ok. Only time will tell but I think baku will be a must craft.

Cripzyy Just put in a good card, the synergy between Baron Geddon and Frost Lich is simply too powerful and irreplaceable. Also, the prevalence of Aggro Paladin means it's a good meta choice.
