Whaaaattt? NO, please say this isn't true 😢 I haven't bought any books from BD in a while as been in a slump, but will be an extremely sad day if we here in NZ can't use the BD anymore. It's not like we have a tonne of independent bookstores & Whitcoulls doesn't exactly have a great selection any more. Edit - just looked on the BD website. Completely closing, oh what a sad day 😞I wasn't going to buy any books this month, but have my eyes on The Girl From The Other side as much cheaper on the BD than on Mighty Ape etc. Always used BD for the books that we can't get here. Sadness*

@@Gillian.Ashcroft.66 It's very sad. I don't ever want to support Amazon, & the BD was more customer-focused. I'm going to put in a couple of orders! I use Mighty Ape for my books - they have a great selection & are the best prices I can find for online. Unity & TimeOut bookstores are lovely, but they are expensive & just don't have the stock, but they might be able to order books in if we need. It is such a shame here in NZ, that we have so few independent bookstores or struggle to find online places to shop. Sometimes it's lovely living at the bottom of the world, but regarding importing/customs & freight charges, it's an absolute nightmare! XD

I recommend the Saints of Steel books by T. Kingfisher, I thought they were better than Swordheart though the first of them is my least favorite of the three.
