I absolutely love this video concept and YES, Petrik is definitely one of the best fantasy booktubers. Just the fact that he has read more than 600 fantasy books blows my mind 🤯 Great video as always!

There are so many fantasy books out there to read. According to Goodreads, I've almost read 2,000, though that is my total book count, and some of it is manga, nonfiction, and gay romances lol. But it sounds like I may have to check out Patrik's channel.

Aww I follow Leonie, Petrik and Elliot, such a fun surprise to see on your channel, and I was just looking at getting The Secret Society of Irregular Witches, Morgan Long loved it, I watch her too. A great video as usual. I don't know if this is talked about, i haven't seen any video on it but Mona Awad has another book, "All's well" that is absolutly histerical, weird, fascinating and a "wtf did i just read" type of story centered around theatre and chronic pain and some other topics, i really enjoyed it and i wish more people would talk about it.

Yaaaaas Age of War is so good. It was fun seeing when Petrik was going through it too, because I LOVE that series. Just a heads up, books 4 and 5 both have serious cliff hangers that will likely make you want to binge the final 3 books back-to-back. Also, I am currently having a lot of fun with the next series chronologically called the Rise and Fall. The fun of this trilogy is seeing how history is truly written by the victor and just how much of what happened has in Legends has been forgotten or manipulated by...certain characters. So good. If you really like classic fantasy vibes with more modern sensibilities you should check out The Blood of the Spear by Mark Timmony, or the Vagrant Gods trilogy by David Dalglish. You might also really like books from the Forgotten Realms. Yay thanks for the reminder about a very secret society I keep forgetting to get to that one lol

Age of War ... I loved it so much! There was one scene that I would've liked to have seen played out differently, though. Arion and Raithe... I wasn't expecting that. I was hoping things would've turned out differently, but in a sense I'm glad it didn't. What about Gifford?! He stole my heart in Age of Swords and really did it up here. I'm intrigued to see what transpires after what happened.
