Wrong title but still I thank you for sharing the video of our close relatives. Babies like this one is looking for something to do. There are no trees to climb and they’re not free. All it can do for now is simply relax, stretch out where it’s comfortable, and look around for something to do, something to play with. At least this little one is able to move around any way it likes and breathe the air outside rather than be cooped up in some cage or building OR starving, getting abused in all kinds of horrible ways. Thank you for taking care of the babies and other orangutans. Love and care for them like your own? May God Bless all the keepers/staff, volunteers and donators.

I love orangutans. These apes of Asia's Borneo, Indonesia, Malaysia and Sumatra are highly endangered critically due to pet trade, palm oil and deforestation. We need to protect these friendly, intelligent and cuddly creatures. Birute Galdikas a Canadian primatologist has been studied these red haired apes for years and the popular culture about this mammal is King Louie from Disney's The Jungle Book movie franchise!!!!

Human and Wildlife Has there been any decrease in the Palm Oil trade ? It’s an absolute HORROR what they are doing to these beautiful creatures! Not to mention, the pet trade . I really wish there was enough funding to advertise on TV as often as they do , say a beer or car commercial! I talk to people all the time that have no idea that they are even endangered. I DO love the videos of these two. The little clown just makes me smile. The fact there seems to be happiness while in a zoo speaks volumes to the care they receive. Its leaps and bounds ahead of the old rusty bars and hard floors which sadly still exist, but there is definitely progress in the understanding of them as thinking and feeling beings.

I've had a lifelong *passionate* interest in Nature & all living things...especially Great Apes...I'm simply in awe of their intelligence & usually gentle nature...This precious little imp needs a playmate like Kentaro, (a baby gorilla) who is so full of mischief & seemingly never-ending energy...Imagine the fun these two little guys would have wrestling, rolling down the hills together & spending their time playing all day... This is so sad. Orangutans should not be rolling or even laying on the ground. The need to be up in the trees. The mother looks extremely overweight. Whatever zoo this is, they dont know how to keep Orangutans healthy. The baby will be fat & bored too. The intelligent animals need activity. So sad. This isnt “saving” them at all.

Orangutan is arboreal animal, that's mean they should spent a lot time on the trees But almost every exhibit in the Zoo had not fullfill this habitat requirement. They afraid that the orangutans will escape the exhibit if there are so many big trees. But why don't you just release them in the wild? Rather than make them as a model in your bussiness? I always see orangutan at zoo spent a lot time on the ground then.

Their physical health will not be as strong if they don’t exercise themselves and that’s to climb on trees, that’s their home. They live on trees, use them as protection so they sleep on the branches. Although they’re safe there, they still need that connection of their natural habitat.

Yes it really is a marvelous animal , but leave it at that , it is a animal and is no way related to “Humans” . It’s funny how they just want to show the juveniles, and how funny and playful the creature is , and , I will say the great apes of all breeds are very cute and vey entertaining to watch . But ,once this animal reaches sexual maturity , it will fucking rip you apart , with no regrets !! The male species of the great ape , will also rip a juvenile of its own kind apart , only in order to have sex with the juveniles mother ! So next time you think of how cute these “ANIMALS” are and how a human may be related to it , just think about that !!! They are truly a viscous killer , with absolutely 0% of anything that even vaguely resembles a conscious!!

This is for all of you that think they are bored or this is cruel being held in captivity. These animals in captivity are well taken care of and even spoiled. They can't be this care free laying around goofing in the grass in the wild or they would be someone's dinner or even killed by man.
