Hi! I don't think portraits are a subject for beginners, which is why I don't do them on this channel. Even if you were to draw cartoons, I always feel that it's best to learn how to draw figures and portraits using the proper fundamentals, and for this I always recommend to go to proko - He gives a lot of valuable information, breaking down to the very detail when it comes to figure and portrait drawings and I personally learn a lot from his channel :)
