Last summer at my grandparent's house I was playing some Need for Speed game on the PS2 and a moth landed and stayed on my arm the whole time. I named it Chocolate because my step sister (who hates bugs) wouldn't stop talking about her craving for chocolate.

I’ve been preaching moth appreciation for years. Moths are very important pollinators, especially vital for plants that only flower at night. They are so fluffy (even their wings are soft and fuzzy,) they have cute little furry faces, and they have lovely bunny ear antennas. What’s not to love? I’m so glad I found this channel!

I will never forget the night I found one of these on my front door screen, it had to be around 20 years ago. It had to be around the size of my hand and was mostly white with a touch of grey/light brown, it was so beautiful. I put my hand near it and it climbed onto my fingers...I very softly and gently pet it since it had what looked like fur. It was so calm and it was so interesting to witness, I feel blessed that I was able to have this experience. 😍

Dang, I used to raise moths back in 2019 as a summer hobby. Hopefully by this summer after all of my work is complete, I can start raising moths again. I have to say that my favorite species of moths will forever be Arctiidae, or Tiger Moths. Not only were they fun to raise, but their vibrant colors are what makes them beautiful. Moths are one of the most beautiful animals out there, and no one can change my mind about that.

Ive always had my fascinations on moth species, where ut all began was when i had 2 silk moths i found outside during the spring in the backyard, i found them sitting on the tree and realizing they couldnt fly i reached my hand out and surprisingly they climbed onto my hand, i took them in and they seemed to be comfy, 2 days pass and when i saw them inside their little hideout i made from cardboard box and okd napkins, one layed eggs right infront of me as i went to check on them which caught me offguard, i became a moth caretaker back then, someone else which i knew actually researched moths with a group and saw my silk moths so i decided to hand them off to em for free and they are still being watched up to this day which im glad about, im just glad i got to see those two silk moths when i got the chance, currently buried them to be remembered by the same tree where i found them

I once found a moth but it was still in its larval state. Wasn’t sure if it was gonna turn into a butterfly or a moth at the time. But I took him in the house, fed him some pieces of cabbage and in a few days, he went into his cocoon state. A week later, he hathched into a little brown moth. That same afternoon, I took him out to the tree out front so he could climb on it and stay safe. As soon as I turned around to go back inside, he flew off the tree, followed me and landed back on my hand. I’m not sure how moths think, but it was like a final “thank you” before leaving. It was kinda cool!

I once found an adorable moth with feathery antennae trapped in a web. I managed to get them loose, but pulled a leg off by accident. I then put them outside, but then I thought that they weren’t gonna make it outside, so I went out and got them in and put them in an open Tupperware container with some sugar water and normal water, but they died shortly afterwards.
