Toccoa and I fly down to see Grandma and Papa in Tennessee. He's being his usual cute self. :) The flight started off VFR and I picked an IFR up enroute. Flying makes my baby sleepy!

I'm a few months from turning 70 here in 2019. Some decisions I made and some circumstances I could not control occurred when I was in my 20's and 30's that prevented me from having children. Watching you with your young son brings up the great regret and sadness I now have about not being able to have children. Some men have biological clocks just like women. I enjoyed every second of this video. Thanks for showing your family.

@@tjarlz3237 My circumstances are not nearly as difficult as yours. Having to bury your children has got to be incredibly difficult, at least that is what I have heard from those who have done it. I know some people in the small town I've lived in that had one child who died before reaching the age of 5 and could not have any additional children. At the time I lost the ability to have children it did not seem that big of a deal. I did not realize my capacity to love and sacrifice myself until about 10 years later. I started to enjoy being around babies and little kids since becoming a teenager. They seem to like me as well. I had a lot of uncles and great uncles growing up who liked children as well and I learned so much from them. They were all jokesters, fun to be around and I learned a lot of fun things to do with kids from them.

@@zionmichel6654 I would not say that. My choices delayed having children and then some health conditions and needed medical procedures caused me to shoot blanks the rest of my life. I lost my first wife, but remarried 7 years later. We just celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary a couple of weeks ago, so I've been blessed with a great marriage. a wonderful woman who loves me through everything. This second marriage is many times better than the first, a great gift after losing the first.

I have watched umpteen of your videos and have enjoyed every single one. But in the last couple I have noticed a slight habit you have - as you add full power for take-off you seem to flex your left hand on the yoke - no fault for sure. Just reminded me when I was flying especially when undergoing commercial training and unusual manoeuvers I would nervously flick a college ring every time. Keep up the tremendous videos I try to watch as many as possible.

I started flying with my dad when I was a few months old. The plane was our version of the Griswold’s station wagon. (6 of us) First landing when I was 12 (I couldn’t land before that because I couldn’t reach the rudder pedals) I love my dad dearly for all he did for me RIP. The one thing that came to mind, as I watched all of the cuteness, was that none of us ever wore hearing protection. It wasn’t a thing back then. (1957-75) Kevin and Jamie, great job with the hearing protection, the great content and keeping us all safe in the air above the Chicago area. ❤️ I now suffer a severe frequency hearing loss and wear hearing aids.

Google Map Richardson Adventure Farm for a location. Current image is the maze from last year, which is more detailed than the Apollo one this year. Made it to Rochelle on Wednesday. Food was pretty good. Worth a return trip, which I can say has been true for all but one of the restaurants I’ve been to.
