With the diy nail decals, stick a layer or two of cardstock cut to the size of the bag and put it inside it. It'll help keep the bag from moving while you make your decal

Found it extremely interesting that the matte in the one with the flowers changed the main colour of the nail. It went a deeper pink...the one with the glossy topcoat THEN the matte, didn't do the colour change. Might be something worth noting that some polishes do this.

Friendly tip! I have an eyebrow wax pencil that can be sharpened. It does absolutely NOTHING for the brows, but works to pick up those tiny stones! 👍❤️

Another way to get a matte coat is to (carefully!) hover your freshly painted nails over some steam! (I learned this trick from Michelle Phan!♥) Also, I love the effect the sharpie makes. It would be perfect for a watercolor flower design! ;3

i use clear nail polish to seal the ends of the ribbon on my pointe shoes. as a dancer, the ribbon frays and falls apart when i don't use the clear coat. but once i put some on the ends, the ribbon doesnt fray. i love love love this hack

An alternative for satin-matte nailpolish top coat: use a normal glossy one, then cautiously file the surface with a dry pure melamine sponge. Pure melamine 'sponges'/'erasers' are basically fine-grade sandpaper foam.

I think they set it in top coat. If you use just regular polish the top coat alone won't hold well for long before your stones pop off. You're better off gluing the stone down and top coating around it to seal the edges. Or maybe setting the stones in top coat and adding a second layer of top coat all over the, but where you go around the rhinestones to seal the edge that way.

If you have Swarovski crystals, don’t cover them with top coat; it will dull the shine.

1:30 the rolling trick works and should be used for mascara as well. allowing air into the tube by repeatedly plunging it dries the mascara. this is at least 30-40% of the reason why your mascara gets clumpy too fast.
