Another hack is: If you want to make/paint a French tip, use one of those price sticker things and put it where your nail tip is (and kinda use it like a nail vinyl). After that just paint your nail tip and take off the sticker. Hope this helps! 💅❤

I have also used sewing straight pins with the little balls on the ends as dotting tools. I just push the sharp end into a pencil eraser to make it a little safer and give me a handle to hold on to. 💅

Ka Lokomaikai Buy a white polish used for French tips! For some reason, they'll thicker and more opaque than normal white polishes! Try Claires "Snowball" or Color Club "French Tip"

Hey, with tip number 7 how do you stop the white nail polish underneath from showing through around the edges? I try to cover it up, but there's always a tiny bit peeking in the corners, especially after the polish wears a bit. It especially annoys me when I do white under an ombre or a water marble. Also, with tip number 11, when I'm applying nail polish should I clean up with a brush around the edges while it's wet, between every layer? Or just clean it all up at the end?

I am sorry, but topcoat as basecoat does not work as well. They have different ingredients and different purposes.

It's a hack in case you don't have a base coat on hand. A topcoat will help prevent your nails from staining from a red polish rather than just applying it directly on your nail bed ☺️

To get evenly placed dots on a nail, what is the "array" that you use to place the dots? Do you do one straight line of dots in the middle of the nail then go crazy on the sides, do you do rows of dots and start from the top, or tip, and move down toward the cuticle (and vice versa), or do you just eyeball it?
