One squirrel that came near my home last week and he was on a tree eating the nuts I threw out my window, shocked me because I noticed he had some kind of plastic or rubber around his torso. I don't know what that was, and I was scared for him- I never saw such a thing. Did he get caught in some plastic or did the city put it on him then released him? I hope he won't die if he gets fatter. It might squeeze him to death? I haven't seen him again.

Had a squirrel one summer that would knock on the storm door if I was late with his afternoon snack. The first time he did it I could not figure out what or where the noise was coming from until I looked down on the step and saw him standing there scratching on the door.

Thank you for starting your video showing a container of water on your AC unit. Yesterday I had scores of birds and numerous squirrels I didn't recall seeing in my yard before. The temperature has been below freezing for several days. I must of had the only unfrozen water for blocks around. I refilled the birdbath and water bowls every couple of hours. I also put out extra food for all my small friends. I can understand that not everyone is into spending money on wildlife for food, but putting out a bowl of water requires little effort and can actually save these creatures.

I feed the squirrels in my garden regularly, but they're still quite timid. So I had a nice experience on a trip to Edinburgh's botanic gardens this week. The squirrels come right up to you because they're so used to people. There's still few timid young ones that comically dance about, possibly wondering what the big squirrel with nuts is all about, but the brave ones would climb my legs and take nuts right out of my hands. It's a wonderful thing to be so close to nature. Some of the squirrels looked a bit scruffy and I was wondering if they sadly get fed all the wrong food. They had their fair share of nuts from me. Gave me a better understanding of the joy you share with Cutie and her pals.

I just love the way they wish they could work out how to get twice as much into their mouths at one go - and watching Cutie freeze when you touched her tail was interesting.
