This was very interesting (and adorable!) to watch - I'm glad it came up in my "recommended" feed - but it's left me with too many questions. Can I ask: 1) What are the defining characteristics of the squirrels that allow you to repeatedly recognise them as individuals? 2) Kiara seems very chilled out about this; has she ever acted toward them as if they are prey?

ive never fed outside animals for fear i attract a bunch of animals to my house . rats raccoons etc . this is neat

I feed the squirrels at my job. I park by the fence of a wooded area and i feed them peanuts in the colder months. They know my car, they know me by sight. They show appreciation. That's for peanuts and water. These guys must LOVE YOU! ❤

I live in Williamsburg VA. The squirrels in the historic district barely have any fur on their tails. I asked an interpreter why they were like this. She said it’s because the tourists feed them scraps with lots of sugar in them. So sad for them.

I have a ton i feed! We go through about 15 pounds of peanuts and about 10 pounds of black seed a week!! Crows come! As do Chipmunks and BlueJays! It’s a veritable ecosystem in my front yard every morning!! They squirrels sit and wait. The BlueJays actually tap on the glass window when I have the AC in living room window!
