Hey Spencer, in the very first video I show a trail map and go over some of the features I want to build. But as you can imagine it's a little out of date now. I think I only ended up building one feature that I had planned. Usually because I let the trail guide me to what to build and other options seem better. Currently this is the only trail that I have on the property but I have scoped out many more. I'll try and include a trail map in the next episode so you can see where the trail is currently at. Thanks for watching.

The trails look so good day and night. The sidewinder berm looks rad with lights on it @8:23! The new berm and jumps are awesome. Love the rollable debris, reminds me of Blueprint trail. I would love to see a small inside kicker to hip into the new berm. The way you made the sped up working shots are awesome, I’ve never seen that kind of blur effect. Your clone riding behind you is awesome, i hope to see more of these touches! Your videos have so many hidden details the list goes on! Congrats on the affiliate deal, it went to buy one but the plugs are European style (which is far superior but won’t work for me).
@cutlaps2 жыл бұрын
Oh yeah, I forgot about Blueprint trail. It is similar to that hey. It works really well. Still smooth to ride but looks like a proper gap. That blur effect is super easy. When speeding up the footage you can select an option to blur the frames together. Are you talking about the power plugs? I'm pretty sure mine only came with a USB to charge it. Didn't actually have a wall charger. But Magic Shine are a big company that sell in the US so there should be something in the store that works for you. Maybe you need to change the location.

Little northshore bridges would be a lot of fun. I have a few more bridges to build at the bottom of the trail. Hey mate! Just wanted to let you know that these videos are insane! You’re gonna be huge one day so make sure to remember me!! Also, just something to note about the drainage issue, make sure you go around the whole trail and picture how the water will flow. Go around and just spend a few hours changing the angles of parts of the track and building drains so the water flows off the track and stops ruts and pooling. It seems like a pain when building, but it will save you hours upon hours down the line. At our local trails, a track just got destroyed so bad because of a lack of solid drainage that it took many people months to fix, so in all our new builds, drainage is a priority. Anyways mate, keep up the awesome work, the videos are super entertaining and inspiring. What a legend 🤘🔥
@cutlaps2 жыл бұрын
Yeiwwww thanks Elliot! Good tips on the drainage. It's usually a high priorty for me. I got too caught up in the shape of the lily pad that I forgot to make sure it could drain to the outside. It didn't take much to get it to flow correctly. I'm glad the storm came in the middle of my build so I could see my mistake early. The rest of the trail drains really well. Except I have created a bit of a fall line after the stump drop (an earlier episode). It isn't an issue at the moment but over time it will definitely errode away. So I need to get up there and sort it out while its still an easy job. Also do you have a copy of the IMBA Trail Solutions book? Lots of great info in there for building sustainable trails. Thanks so much for watching and sharing your info!!

@@cutlaps I haven’t moved yet because all the rain caused some damage to our house so we had to get that fixed and clean up again so we might move some time next yr when we have things sorted

I do like a light on my helmet, but my main light is on my handlebars. That will create shadows that are visible as opposed to the light on your head washes everything out due to the angle. So I put a smaller Spot lite, then on my bars more of a flood light anywhere from 1800 to 2500 lumins
@cutlaps2 жыл бұрын
Interesting, I will have to give that a go. I was thinking shadows would be a bad thing, but I can see how it can help with dpeth. I've only tried riding my own trail at night which is pretty smooth and I know like the back of my hand. The real test would be on some janky stuff. I will have to give it a go. Although I do need a second light.
@trailjockeytj61602 жыл бұрын
@@cutlaps Try riding in the rain with that light on your head! It looks like Warp Drive! You will shift your lite solely to your bars. But I do like a light on my helmet for going around tight corners. Your bar light will not bend around the corner while you can pivot your head to see around the corner.

I think you should try and get permission to build a public bike park, you're a professional.
@cutlaps2 жыл бұрын
That would be so freaking cool! Sort of like Seth did with Bern Park, or the other Seth did with Howler bike park. I am definitely not professional, I still have so much to learn. But honestly, I can barely have enough time to build 1 trail let alone a full bike park. I do want to build something that the public can access, but with that comes a lot more issues of insurance and liabilities. I’m definitely keen, let’s see what this KZbin channel grows into. Thanks for watching!

Hello, sorry to bother you here. This is Arrowbin from HSU, one of the most popular action camera accessory brands in the market. We are wondering whether you would be interested in trying out the GoPro Hero wind muff, which could help reduce the wind noise. You could kindly check the comparison video for the media mod and the windslayer from this video. kzbin.info/www/bejne/i6e5d2d4fdyZb7c
