I thought a kicker was a straight angled ramp and launch ramps have transition but maybe that's just skateboarding?

I am having the hardest time trying to covert mm to feet and inches to buy wood for the medium kicker, has anyone in the us tried this?
@cutlaps2 күн бұрын
Hey mate. When I'm converting measurements I use google. Just type in the mm and ask it for inches.

@cutlaps10 күн бұрын
Ohhh thats weird. It works on computer but I just checked on mobile and KZbin is doing something weird where the link takes you to the product page instead. I will have to talk to KZbin support about it. You can just head to my website www.cutlaps.com and the plans are all pretty easy to find. Thanks for letting me know.

How did it not go as planned?
@cutlaps10 күн бұрын
The jump needs to be rebuilt. The angles are wrong for the amount of trail speed there is. So I'll have to build the take off higher and mellow out the lip.
@wombatking31312 күн бұрын
I built it yesterday and we are sending it out the front of my house and jumping 3 to 4 meters and it is sick. I was going to buy and MTB hopper until I saw the price tag on it I built the kick for $102 and it come out sick 🚵♂️🚵♂️🤟
@cutlaps9 күн бұрын
Epic! I actually have a MTB hopper and it cost so much money to get it to Australia. I didn't realise I would have to pay money at customs which was about $300 from memory + the jump. Way cheaper to just build them myself lol.

Loving your vids! What do you think of the Trajecta helmet... I'm thinking of getting one for mostly trail centre and jump park riding. Regards from UK!
@cutlaps14 күн бұрын
Hey mate. I love the Trajecta and would definitely buy it again. It's not a full DH helmet though so you may want something a bit more sturdy if thats your style of riding.

Hey Luke! Hope you're having a good time. I am only 14 years old and i stumbled upon your channel. I am a boy from Belgium who loves MTB. I really love your content, and you really inspired me to build my own features. But unfortunately I don't have much space to build and not o lot of money for wood and other things. So I just need to be creative. SO a big thanks for you. Keep up the great work!!
@cutlaps14 күн бұрын
Hey mate! Thank you for your comment. Really cool that you are building your own stuff. Maybe check out the video where I built a kicker from pallet wood. Thats a fun build that doesnt cost too much money.

I’m visiting Australia from Alaska to meet with family and I’m about to fly down to Tasmania in a few days, do you know if there’s anywhere I could rent and ride a bike there
@cutlaps22 күн бұрын
Tasmania has some of the best trails in Australia. Check out blue derby, lots of places to hire a bike. And maydena is a massive mountain with lots of gnarly trails. It's where they hold red bull hardline.

I reckon it would be good after the huge wooden berm to create another flowey section to gain some more speed as it leads into the second section. You could do this with gaps or another whale tail! Your trail is awesome and I love watching your videos. Keep up the good work!
