Star Citizen is an Open Development Alpha Project by Cloud Imperium. i know I'm 2 years late. but yeah i just buy that and it's so good. and if someone think about it. you can always rent it and test it. but to me it's definitely best daily driver. it's so good to. handle, have room etc

For new players I tried the suggested upgrades but two things don’t work the shield and laser repeaters. Instead of All pathers put all Omnisky IX canons and for shield use FR-76 shield rest is fine you are good to go

We need the different components to finally be different, this would change every envou ter as ppl could be running so many different builds and would be able to adapt each ship to a specific players play style.

Where do you find the stats for shields, on any wiki I check their all equal cuz devs want to have them that way for balancing rn

Hm, the Cutlass Red already has that weapon loadout (base guns, it has no missiles), so not much to change there. The Quantum Drive is pretty sluggish, but on the flip has really good range and fuel efficiency, so lower operating cost if you don't mind chilling during warp.

What I need is a diagram explaining which hardpoints are where on an overlay of an image of the ship. Its super confusing otherwise.

FR76 shield, Crossfield QD, 4x s3 Panther Repeaters . (turret normally 2 s3 panthers but a bug won't allow it) .

Yaeger QD basically cuts quatum travel time in half, imo its a must lol

Question, is this normal that every time my ship gets destroyed i lose all panther cannons and rocket racks? All of other components stay on

Great info thx. I’m just about to buy the game and have a question. I play solo for the most part and want to get a ship to help start my adventure. I have it narrowed down to the Cutlass Black or the Nomad with my budget, I’m leaning towards the Nomad since I play solo, what is your opinion?

I personally prefer the Nomad since it's cheaper, more stylish, and better for solo play, but that's just my opinion

Do the coolers and power plant work in game? Ive heard on other videos that they do not.

They absolutely do. On certain ships they don't make that much of a difference but on other ones replacing them is a must

I love tye ship but deeply despise the main pilot chair view. I'd rather have the co-pilot view.

why i cant put 4 CF-337 blasters? doesnt show in selection, but i store them in my character inventory.

To equip them you will need to have them on the station inventory rather than your character inventory and your ship will need to be stowed

Does this guide work for the blue, red and steel?

Yes... sorta. The Steel has some extra turrets, the Red doesn't have a turret or missiles, but otherwise they're pretty similar.

Right now probably the Red, the medical beds are pretty useful. Or the Steel, because it's a comical clown car of a ship

Honestly I wouldn't bother with the replacing the power plant during 3.17.1. Distortion is broke and the ship can't over draw on the stock power plant. Edit "Star Citizen's Alpha 3.17 is right on the horizon" Should probably be 3.17.2.

I thought military components were always better than civilians. I saw you recommended a civilian shield gen

That's a pretty common misconception. Mainly only the class of the component matters, as Class A is typically better than Class B or C components. For the shield generator, the civilian one has the same capacity and recharge rate as the military one, but is much cheaper and also reboots faster than the military one if it gets hit by distortion or EMP, which is why I like it

Hi, what size 1 missiles you install on the msd-481 racks? There are no "aero-1" missiles in choices from dps calculator but other ones.

The missiles are Arrow I missiles and you can find them at Grim HEX or HUR L3
