Captain N was in 89 to 91 so all they had was the first 2 Mega Man games to base him off. Plus anime stuff wasn't big in America at that time so he was western animation styled. Finally Capcom did a OVA anime based on him called Rockman: Upon a Star which looked more like the Japanese artwork and probably was more the vision of the game creators.

I didn't feel that way. As a kid, the Super Mario Bros Super Show was true to the character's likenesses, and then there was a Sonic the Hedgehog TV show, and also Mega Man. They did fairly commendable jobs. Captain N I didn't watch a single episode, because King Hippo looked nothing like the video game character.

Ok...so the difference between Cut Man and Cutsman is as simple as this; Cut Man is actually kinda cute in a way, not to mention, has a more threatning weapon (a pair of shears or cleavers pretty much). Cutsman literally has safety scissors glued to his head, and has to like, whip his head around to use said weapon (Cut Man can just throw it). Looks way too human, that voice makes me want to die, oh my god kill it.

I want to see a reboot where people actually capitalize on the lost potential this show had. Possibly with an expanded cast such as featuring the Mario Bros and Link as part of the main group.
