I’m starting to love layering but I’ve made mistakes. Especially with the temperature. Your video explained what I did wrong. Just a few seconds on each layer so I don’t melt it. I was leaving heat on too long. I have learned from my mistakes. I love your videos so much. I always learn something new.

Thank you soooo much. I cobbled together a design that has a 2 color background with a white layer connecting the colors and bordering the whole design. (kind of like a Pepsi logo with a thin white border) I cut 3 it in separate pieces. If I have any shrink it ruins the decal

Time and temperatures matter for layering
@geeman81513 жыл бұрын
The key is to tack it for 1-2 secs, hot peel and repeat. I've only used easy weed. When you press with the suggested heat you shrink the material and shirt. Took me along time to find this out.

Love the shirt super cool , would it not be easier to mirror the whole design to start with ? Just incase you forget to mirror one piece , also does cricut not have a function to click the top layer then press shift on the bottom layer to highlight them all ? And then can shift and click extra layers of needed , I've not worked with cricut but watching the videos the process does put me off as it's so long winded as opposed to other softwares

Kinda want to get started as a hobby I found a great heat press but what else do I need? For example how did you print your design on to the vinyl? Is it a special type of laser printer or something? I know that the color rolls of vinyl are on Amazon but still don't know how a design goes from the computer to being printed to they vinyl to get sublimated by the heat press machine. Thanks.

It takes out the extra press step. They're not on top of each other so can be pressed together. I found it fascinating that she could take one off it's original carrier sheet and placed it on the other sheet. Curious as to how she could do that as usually the inside of the glasses would've been cut out on my maker.
