I would use a 40 tooth blade for the circular saw.

so the under part of the door doesnt chip?

No it doesn't. Because of the way the blade turns it will not chip the bottom. Thats why I score the veneer with a razor blade so the blade doesn't chip the top.

Festool track saw would have done that 3 times before you finish 1, and all three cuts would be better than a free hand cut, if you've been doing it for 30 years it's time to upgrade my friend

Thank you for this video, but what about using a hand saw 🪚? Would I need to score with the knife all faces of the door? Thanks.

It would be very difficult to keep the hand saw in line with the scribes. The only way I could see this working would be to lay an 1/8 in plywood under layment on both side of the door . That might keep it from chipping.
