Cutting a Large Western Hemlock on a Wood-Mizer LT35 Portable Sawmill

Glad to see some hemlock on a bandsaw mill, because that’s mostly what I have.

Hemlock definitely makes some nice lumber for framing and such. I also have quite a bit of Hemlock on my place so there will be a lot of it coming to the mill.

The 5 in the cross shape will be the most stable - the rift sawn ones will shrink asymmetrically. Nice mill, nice log - thanks for sharing!
