Gloves on, respirator and eye pro, yep. Could tape the whole face of that ruler, then just score and break it. That chip is where you stopped your cut to move your hand on the straight edge. Good job though for someone who doesn't cut glass on a regular basis. If you do, then you want a straight edge that won't move. They have a rubber or cork backer on them that is tacky Silica carbide fabric backed sandpaper (wet sanding) works great for shaping glass. You can also use a cheap sharpening stone or polishing pad on a sander, depends on how much you want to bevel the edge. Adding lubricant will help smooth it further. Wet sanding to round the edge, you need a profile sander or to make a block that will shape it how you want it. Good enough is good enough for DIY, exposed edges you need to cut it clean. If you have a cheap mirror that just has a peel and stick backer, cut that line with a razor blade before you score and break it. Good work! Cheers.

Thank you sir for your reply 😊🙏😊 Sir @@vendter what if you polish that mirror edge using orbital sander but with a little water for clear smooth effect? Is it still safe to use that power tool? 😊
