“His house is a little small” ...understatement of the day. That guy needs a decent sized post garage on his property for his vehicles and a new house entirely - his house would make a good guest house but in my experience, adding additions to houses is a fast lane for headaches and poor returns on investment.

@@devitomichael The owner of the house is probably more of a minimalist. We use and own only what we need and waste nothing. If you live alone, you don't need a 4 bedroom house with a dining room and built basement. I do agree that an attached garage would probably be bad for ROI, but in this case the owner has probably paid off his mortgage, so it might not be a problem for him financially.

I think why I admire Andrew so much is because he reminds me of my dad and papaw, worked in the coal mines, built bridges, could fix almost anything, worked with their hands and outside constantly, just jumped in and fixed anything that needed fixing. That can-do gritty determination and zero complaining, no frills attitude along with a lot of other men of that generation who built this country and fixed what needed fixing and did it right. Good job as always Andrew.

I was young and watched my father work for home owners. The most touching was Miss Wadington, Colorado Springs, Colorado, who had the hunched down back, Bless her, wore shoes styled in the 1930s or 40s. This was in 1965 through 1973, was born in 1959. My dad did everything he could for her, shoved walks, put up and down storm windows, cleaned her yard and beautiful garden, painted and maintained her 1950's car. When she passed away my Dad cried for the 2nd time I ever witnessed. I busted my butt until 6 years ago when a oil field pipe I was hauling on my OTR trailer smacked my back. Still fighting the insurance company. Long comment sorry. I emulated my elders that's my point.

Hi Andrew, love you're videos mate. I've been in the tree felling trade for nearly 30 years now, just a little advice, take it or leave it, up to you. When your felling trees like at 1:14:52 in your video, your sink cut is fine, but your back cut is way too high. The aim is to try and create a hinge, so you have control of the tree as it falls. What you are doing is more akin to a step cut, which you can just about get away with because of the pressure being exerted by the excavator. A better practice is to come through almost level with the bottom of the hinge cut and no need to slope this cut. Keep it as level as possible but leave an inch or so (depending on the size of the tree) for the hinge. Give it a try, you will find you have way better control of the tree as it falls doing it this way. You have way more skills than me in all the other stuff you do, but I have been doing treework a long time. As I said, take it or leave it. Keep up the great work mate.

Hi Andrew, just ran on to your videos recently [retired] I worked construction 1980's-2005. Like the 955H. Many ways to do a job, I like how you ripped up the cut with the hoe, saved a lot of wear/ tear on the 955. If I may suggest, Moving the Earth, the workbook of excavation,[IIt is probably your favorite already] A loader can push up to twice it's capacity, than load and carry. Just get behind the loose material and push it through a slot to the other end of the job. Less fuel and under-carriage wear...BEST WISHES love your videos!

Dear Andrew, I've been watching your videos for a little while now and I am just so impressed at the skill and how you handle yourself during the course of these jobs. The amount of equipment you would learn to operate and fix as needed makes me go wow this guy is amazing he can do it all. If I were a younger man, I would want to contact you and say how would you like to have an apprentice an understudy to learn what you know? However I'm a few years older than you and can it really appreciate what you've learned in the short time that you've been on the planet compared to me. You are one of the finest KZbinrs out there in my estimation and I just enjoy the heck out of what you can do when you make your mind up to do so. God bless you for being an inspiration to a lot of younger men and women that are watching your Channel even though they might be quiet and that's saying very much! D.P. Swez

Andrew is a very pleasant young man, in pursuit of his own ambitions in life. He's determined, creative, hard-working, independent, unflappable and Very Funny! But, I must say, his line of work is not without potential perils or disappointments -- he has the heart to prevail and should be an example to all young folks to follow.

I always thought you had to cut down the tree, then dig out the stump. Your way of doing it makes much more sense. Push the tree down, using the weight of the tree for leveraging the stump out. I also like the way you take drone pictures at the end. Cool videos!!

I was watching the video and thought about the hundreds of workers in the past that cleared trees for farms or other structures here in the US that will never be known. We may see what they did but have no idea how or why they did it. It's great that we live in the times we do. Now there is a record of what you have done, your mastery with your machines and your skills at changing an environment. Thanks for posting.

Andrew , You're neighbors are very lucky to have you for a neighbor and friend. That community is VERY lucky to have you with your knowledge and Skills running a business near them . Here in central Fla. just about all we have here are blowhards and thieves to Rob and destroy the Neighborhoods . When you need anything done like take down a tree , it's 4oo.oo Per tree. lol, or prepare a little 1/4 acre lot for a small house , " to clear small Brush or level the ground for foundations. it's 4000.00 lol it's awful the way the elderly are taken advantage of by these Crooks. and none of the bums can do the job that you can do. When you work on anything is complete no stopping and haggling over the price to squeeze a little more money out of the suckers. to finish the job. The folks in your area should throw you a party every year of gratitude and love for your hard work. YOU will never starve , because people, they like you and will give you anything you want , you have their trust and Caring:; here in Central Florida, it's lucky to find the guy when he finishes and you find out he didn't do half of what you had agreed to . and it doesn't do any good to sue the pukes because you will never collect and they just change the name of their business and continue on Robbing the public. I enjoy watching your videos and dreaming one day of having things done on my property by someone who cares like you. . Good Luck in your Future and life. Stay Healthy ,,,you already have everything else.

I think you need to grease the tracks on your Hitachi Back Hoe/Excavator. They were very squeaky and dry sounding to me. I also like that your new batteries for your Track Loader are NAPA Commercial. I happen to work for NAPA and I am glad your prefer our products to others you could use. Even f the main reason you buy NAPA is that is the main parts store near you. I do agree with you that you should use your big Green Cat more. IF you own it use it or just move it around once a year.
