When I was in education I was in the unions as a branch representative at the school I worked at and dealt with many cases one of them was a sexual harassment case with a school principal as the perpetrator, it’s really heartbreaking.

Hi Guys, I hear the story of the lady that she was pushed to the back and couldn't do anything. I don't condone any sexual harassment, what the Principal did was wrong and justice must be served. Anyways here is my point, how did the teacher got naked in that office?? In a way that it became easy for the principal to put his thing inside Her. I think you need to learn about what consent means. A victim doesn’t have to scream to stop the perpetrator. You can’t dictate a person’s reaction when faced with a traumatic situation.

How does SADTU represent the principal as if he’s got against a case against the employer! The victim needs not even approach them as SADTU, as soon as they know it’s a matter like that and it involves two members on either side, then they opt out! Rather lose the membership of this member than act so corruptly!!! I’m a man, but I’m not gonna be surprised that this was a decision of men on their own! To them I say, I wish this happens to your wife or daughter…or even mother; cos that’s someone’s mother, sister or wife/partner there that you would out as SADTU, including SAPS and DET!
